Students from 2Yew and Transition Year travelled to the RDS on Thursday 12th of January to view first hand the wide variety of projects on view. Some interesting topics covered by some of the projects included the harmful effects of vaping, impact of Covid-19 on anxiety levels of students, mobile phone usage by second level students and positive and negative consequences of online learning. The extensive range of projects were from schools right throughout Ireland and the area was packed with visiting schools eager to enhance their understanding of Science and Technology. The TY students also got the chance to met up with former Science teacher Ms. Ann Marie English who was assisting students in her new school. The students finished off the enjoyable day with some retail therapy by visiting Dundrum shopping centre on the way hope. Special thanks to Ms. Trudy O'Byrne for organising the trip and to Ms. Caroline Redmond and Mr. Iain Wickham who accompanied the well behaved students.
