The Transition Year variety show took place in the Riverside Hotel on Thursday 6th of March. It was an excellent nights entertainment where the TY class of 2024/25 showcased their wide variety of talents in the areas of song, dance and acting. They were ably assisted by other students who had recently completed the TY programme in the school.
Staff of the school also performed several dance routines greatly adding to the enjoyment of the event. The show clearly demonstrated the value of TY with many students performing in front of an audience for the first time showing great maturity and confidence. The time spent practicing was clearly evident on the night.
The core team of Mr. Luke Maher TY Coordinator, Mr. Liam Sharkey, Ms. Anita Cullen, Ms. Anna Nolan, Ms. Jessica Doyle and Ms. Natalie Doyle again put in trojan work in ensuring the night was a resounding success. The school community is particularly proud of all the students that performed on the night and would like to thank all staff, parents and the wider community who assisted on the night.
