Our 5th Year LCVP students enjoyed an insightful visit to our local Pettitt's SuperValu, as part of their School/Business Partnership.
Managing Director Cormac Pettitt shared his expertise on what it takes to run a successful, community-focused business. Students then took part in a lively Q&A session, with three students winning store vouchers for their excellent questions.
The visit continued with a behind-the-scenes tour of the store, including the fruit and veg section, fresh meat counter, delicatessen, checkouts and stockroom.
Students will now use the information gathered to complete their Summary Reports for their LCVP portfolios.
