As part of the Anseo Attendance Initiative in Enniscorthy Community College there will be rewards for students just before the February break. All students at Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle with an attendance rate of over 95% will be entered into a draw, and there will be a laptop for one Junior Cycle student and one Senior Cycle student. There will also be book vouchers for students with the most improved attendance since Christmas. Members of the School Attendance Team have been busy meeting all students and updating them on their attendance rate and emphasising the importance of regular school attendance. There will also be an excellent award for the class with the best overall attendance since Christmas which is a trip to Emerald Park. A special thanks to Ms. Paula Busher the School Completion Programme Coordinator for sponsoring the prize. The school has attedance baseline date from 2024/25 and the aim is to improve overall attendance this year and regular meetings allow for targeted interventions throughout the year.
