Third, Fifth and Sixth year students of French visited the Alliance Francaise in Dublin on Tuesday 14th October where they explored the library. They enjoyed a treasure hunt where they had to find the answers to clues to complete a crossword and then played some games in French. We had lunch in the café and participated in a music workshop in the afternoon. The students practiced their French and engaged in all activities with enthusiasm. ECC is very proud of our excellent language students. A special thanks to French teachers Ms. Angela Bourke and Ms. Fabienne Chapuis Osborne who organised the trip and accompanied the students.
Today we welcome Armelle and Aline from France who are visiting our school as part of their Erasmus program. They will visit the Third year French class who have been exchanging emails with the students from Armelle's class. Third years will introduce themselves in French, talking about their families, pastimes, school and town and have lots of questions about France and school life which they plan on asking Armelle .
