On Friday 4th April, the Sixth Year Leaving Cert Applied group visited the Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) training facility in Enniscorthy as part of their Construction module in Graphics and Construction Studies.
The students learned about current best practice regarding airtightness, insulation, Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation (MHRV) systems and air quality management. The knowledge gained will aid the students during their upcoming state exam in June and provide vital knowledge for those who have a future career in the Construction industry. A special thanks to Mr. Dave Lawton for organising the trip.
